Hurray, we made it to April/Springtime. April 1st is a Full Moon in Libra, and there are no planets in retrograde. “No fooling,” zero. That means there is a great deal of energy available for our manifestations and for creativity. A full moon is an overflowing of energy ready to assist our intentions. Since it is also in Libra, there is a sense of balance. Be energized, yet under control.
April is the fourth month. In base-10, the four is all about structure and foundation. Take time to look at what you have relied on to be your foundation. It’s critical since this is a time when all our beliefs are being challenged and tested. In base-12, the 4 is always connected to the number 3. 4×3 = 12. The three is always taking the structure of four to higher levels, reminding us that we are working with cosmic energy. If we simply add 4+3=7, we are led to the spiritual aspect of 4. Number 7 represents spirituality. There is a spiritual aspect to this structure, and we are being called to notice its subtlety.
We can also examine the significance of the number four in the chakra system, the heart chakra. It is generally believed that this is where we hold love. The great spiritual leaders have all taught that love is the answer. Songwriters have sung, “all we need is love.” I believe this is true; we must practice it to make it work.
But how many of us know what love is? We can all agree that there is romantic love, the giddy-up that fuels so many early relationships. There is so much stress and chaos around us these days that finding a way to act harmoniously throughout the day is quite a test. It seems to me that little gestures of kindness are a very good start. Qualities like caring and consideration for others are essential to making this shift.
Linda recently reminded me how important it is to simply listen and be there for another. It is so difficult to say something meaningful when someone loses a loved one. What is happening to them is not rational. Therefore, we must respond with kindness.
April 1st is a 4/1/10 , (2026=10). The 10 and the 1 represent a new start for this structure. When the 4 appears again, as in 4/4/2026, it is a fresh start for a higher level of the heart and for our capacity to love. It is the little gestures that express love, and the more we get into the mindset of coming from a place of kindness, the easier it is to pause instead of react to chaos. Responding with care is a great form of love. Nurture this attitude and the world will be a finer place, easier to grow and expand human consciousness.
