October is the 10th month of the year, representing a new beginning and the potential for our highest possible reality held by the number 10. Last month, we focused on resolutions and completions, which has led us to this time of freshness. If you were anything like me, resolving certain issues and bringing them to completion has not been an easy task. In most of our lives, we invest a great amount of energy and attention into relationships and our dreams. It has been challenging for me to truly discern what needs to be released in order to make room for this new initiative. Now, along comes October, full of astrological significance, and we are challenged to make sense of it all, personally and collectively.
On October 7th, we will experience a Super full Moon in Aries. At this time, the dwarf planet Eris will be super active. It is actually much larger than Pluto, yet still considered a dwarf planet. It is also thought to be the sister of fiery Mars. Expect plenty of upheaval, and perhaps some boundaries will be broken. Being respectful is essential for maintaining healthy karma, yet some boundaries will be compromised with Eris’ assistance.
October 13, Venus in Libra. Libra is all about fairness and balance, while Venus is the planet of love and compassion. Look out for some interesting changes in relationships. Remember, we are cultivating newness thanks to the work last month.
October 16-18 Arcturus Gateway. The Sun and the Royal Star Arcturus align, providing this precious access to Arcturian knowledge and inspiration. This royal star, one of four, is 25 times brighter than our Sun and is believed to be the home of a very highly developed civilization based on principles of love. It is also highly technological and eager to share with Planet Earth. It would be wise to create time and space to receive inspiration and insight during this gateway window.
Oct 20 Mercury aligns with Mars. This is a rare energy. Mercury represents communication, and Mars prompts action. This is a day for speaking up. The Universe supports your assertiveness when it is kind and compassionate.
October 21. Soon after the Gateway, there is a New Moon in Libra. It is a time to slow down, find your balance point, and take a deep breath. The Libra energy encourages this. Pay attention because the “Sister of Mars”, Eris, is still asserting her fiery energy and loves to “shake up the chi” within.
October 22. Neptune re-enters Pisces. It is a time of balancing creativity and spirituality, assisting in the completion of a project for success.
October 23. The Sun in Scorpio becomes a time to turn within, be reflective, and pause—a great time for introspection and evaluation of all that has gone on recently.
