My intent for this blog is to show the synchronicity of the number 8 with the astrological energy of August. Generally, 8 holds the energy of prosperity and abundance, and a more expanded vision of it includes the frequency of assertiveness, boldness, and leadership. The Leo in us can be sidetracked by ego and self-centeredness. There can be arrogance if one is not careful and mindful. The kind and loving nature of the lion can be way too laid back. The right amount is a beautiful playfulness that is well–deserved. We have all been going through challenging times, and Leo is a good reminder to pause a little and enjoy the summer.
August holds two significant portals. The first is the 8/8 Lionsgate. It is the portal for the Sirius energy that we felt last month during the Sirius Stargate. Note the phenomenon that August 8th marks the exact midpoint between the June Solstice and the September Equinox. The Sun is halfway between, and at this time, the veil between the physical world and the spiritual is very thin. We can inhabit the two realities effortlessly if we pay attention.
In this sacred, insightful portal energy, we can call back pieces of our spirit that have been stuck in the past or projected into a future dream or fantasy. Remember, we make the most significant progress in our healing when we are in the present moment. Through our intentions, we can call back these aspects of ourselves that were stuck due to trauma or emotional entanglements. This will allow us to reach our fullest potential in the present. Keep in mind, these pieces of our spirit need to be placed into a purification chamber before we reintegrate them. Include this in your intention for your highest possible reality. The second portal of the month is on 8/22. It is called the heart of the Lion. The Sun is in alignment with another Royal star, namely Regulus. This especially aligns with prosperity and good fortune. It can be reinvigorating and rejuvenating for our dreams to become manifest. Leo season is a time to build up some storehouse of energy necessary for the upcoming Eclipse season beginning in Virgo on August 22.
During the month, Venus in Leo brings the loving energy to this season, and Venus opposing Pluto seeks a balance to relationships that are out of balance. Be open to a shift in relations that can benefit from deeper intimacy.
