My intention for this blog is to explore the astrology of Gemini and the significance of the number six in numerology. June is the sixth month, and we are now in the sign of Gemini, represented by the twins. The twin energy can be the opposites of light and dark, positive or negative, or spiritual and physical. We will be confronted by many conflicting or polarizing energies this month, and it will require focus and mindfulness. Do we respond by yielding or by being assertive? There will be moments in these transactions where we will see ourselves very clearly, in a new light. Self-awareness is a primary goal in this journey of awakening. Instead of choosing between light and dark, the real challenge is to bring this energy to a divine neutral point. It just is and is part of a divine Oneness.
The number six has generally pointed us to the family. That is true when we evaluate from the decimal system, numbers 0 through 9. It is time to consider the deeper meanings found in base 12 numerology. In base 10, the numbers can only be divided equally by two numbers, 2 and 5. In base 12, 2×6 =12, 3×4 = 12, and 4×3 = 12. There are twice as many numbers in base 12 to reveal the frequencies being expressed. So, in base 12, the number six is seen as 6×2, including the two, which means relationships, kindness, caring, and love.
My goal is to include base-12 observations whenever possible. Very often, when looking at Gemini, we see the opposing aspects of this sign. Now it can consist of the dynamic of love and kindness in the family, in June, bringing our attention to balancing the opposing energies of the twins. It illuminates the tendency of our physical body to strive for homeostasis.

June 6, the New Moon in Gemini, is a 6/6/2025. The double-six vibration is calling us to focus and embody the elevated energy of the family, which is seen as a primary source of love and lessons to be learned. It is a powerful energy for self-awareness, as the family is generally the place where we experience most of our soul’s challenges before we evolve to the next level of our journey.
On June 20, the Sun enters Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice. It is a compelling shift in Earth energy, to a higher frequency, the change of seasons. This shift in Mother Nature is a time to shift to a greater awareness of ourselves. It is a beautiful time to set our intentions for healing and alignment at a new level of our growth. A Full Moon follows this day.
June 21, a Full Moon. It is a time to take an honest look at our lives and let go of old habits, acknowledging where we have been. This can be challenging since it may trigger feelings of regret and shame. It takes courage and self-empowerment to face our former weaknesses, but the reward is life-affirming. We are no longer the person who created the shame. We have grown into a higher expression of ourselves, being fully honest about where we have been and who we are now.
We can place our hand on our heart and state our intent to align with our highest potential, aligned to the highest possibility within the divine infinite field of all possibilities now.
