Happy New Year, everyone. January is the beginning of 2025. We shift from an 8-year to a 2+0+2+5=9-year. The number 9 resonates with completion and resolution. 2024 was all about our prosperity, and this year; we will be dealing with resolving issues and bringing them to completion to integrate the prosperity we worked so diligently to create in 2024. Throughout this coming year, we will face problems and concerns that must be dealt with to grow and prosper.
Let me bring your attention to an interesting aspect of the number nine. It contains all the preceding numbers. For example:
1+8= 9, this sequence reads “ a new beginning for abundance.”
2+7=9, this reads “spiritualizing relationships.”
3+6=9, this reads “communication within the family.”
4+5=9, this reads “ a foundation for freedom.”
All the numbers from 1 to 8 create the value of the nine. This year will reveal any issues we still have manifesting our abundance, improving relationships, communicating with our families, or realizing the structure for our freedom.
January is the first month, resonating with new beginnings, and appropriately, it builds on December 30, the second new moon of December, called the Black Moon. It’s unusual to have two new moons in one month, and it made for a great time to sit and reflect on where you are going with the trajectory of your life and dreams. This differs from New Year’s Eve resolutions because we can envision our life going forth and plant the intentions to manifest these dreams. Even if you missed this moment last month, do it anyway. The energy still lingers in the newness of the year.
You may recall another reminder from last month: on December 12, Mars and Venus were on opposite sides of the zodiac, in perfect balance. By the end of the year, Mars, holding the masculine energy, went retrograde and continued into the beginning of the year.
Later in the year, Venus, the feminine energy, will also retrograde. Be prepared to notice how this affects our assertive sense of self and, later, our yielding sense. Ideally, we work toward balance. 2025 could show us what the imbalance looks like and how it is reflected in us.
The new year also holds another significant shift: there will be two Blood Moon Eclipses, one in April and one in September. These will have powerful impulses for endings, resonating with the number nine for the entire year.
Healers and guides have been working with us to cleanse and release unhealthy energy and relationships that no longer serve our enlightenment. We have carried these energies because they were significant in our life lessons. Now is the time to say, “Been there, done that.” It is time to move on and grow into the best version of ourselves.
