Here we are—almost the middle of May. There is so much going on in each one of our lives, and, as you can imagine, it is just like that for our outer world. The huge astrological event is the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse, May 15th-16th.
Before we get into that, just a reminder, May is the fifth month. Five holds the vibratory frequency to discover your true freedom. Horses also represent freedom. Picture an open pasture or range without fences. Now see at the top of a hill the outline of the herd galloping at full speed toward you for no other reason than “because they can”. That’s them being horses, showing us who we can be. We need to discover who we really are.
Here is another image. A while back, Linda and I were asked to visit a ranch where several horses had not healed their injuries. We were invited to walk to a beautiful hill overlooking the ranch. Little by little, the horses who needed healing energy came over as if to introduce themselves. The owner, who was a marvelous healer and equestrian trainer was with us. She was amazed at what began to take place. One of the horses who had some issues, lay down in the tall grassy pasture and rolled around on his back. His feet up in the air. The trainer wanted us to realize how unusual this was. It was the most vulnerable a horse could be. Think about it, she said. Their strength is their ability to run away from danger or kick with their powerful feet. That beautiful animal being was showing us the inherent freedom in trust. The horses trusted the trainer and extended that trust to us. We learned so much from them, and in return, we channeled Sonic Reiki energy to these marvelous loving animals. We don’t need to go to the ranch to get in touch with this energy. The number five resonates with it. The frequency is here. It is up to us to “notice” what is going on.
This brings me to the phenomenon of May 10th, Mercury is going retrograde. Nothing to worry about. It means slow down, pay attention, and notice all that has happened to you lately. Mercury is known as the messenger of the gods, or more specifically, of your subconscious mind. It means to take time to reflect. Create quiet time to notice insights already there and take ownership of them. They come from within us.
Another event on May 10th is that Jupiter enters Aries and stays there ‘til Oct.28th. Aries is the inner warrior. It can reveal a new path and hold the courage to embark on this exciting journey. Many of us have misgivings about doing something new and challenging, and this is the energy to get it going.
As significant as this Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse is, we must remember that April ended with a Solar New Moon Eclipse creating a portal between these two events. Generally, we state intentions about what we wish to create and manifest on the new moon. This particular time is doing this for us even when we are not paying attention. That is how powerful the energy is. The real beauty of it all is when we are conscious of the events and their significance, and the energy manifests in an authentic way. It is essential to know that the manifestation didn’t come from “out there”; the planetary energy triggers what has been brewing within us. The healthier we are physically, mentally and spiritually, the greater the manifestation into physical reality. I encourage us all to tune into the Sonic Reiki website and blog. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is often referred to as the blood moon because it has a pinkish/red glow. We should be able to see it around midnight on the 15th. It represents powerful transformation energy. One can feel enhanced insights, and some might even sense their clairvoyance. The energy is such vital energy that it can activate our soul contract hidden deep within us.You might ask, is that logical? No! It’s not! It is a spiritual event.
Interestingly, Mercury’s retrograde is occurring and is precisely what we need. Look inward, and take time to recognize what is being shaken loose from our deep memory vault. If you follow what Linda has been writing, you will know that light energy comes to humans and we process and integrate these light frequencies. This is what she has been able to do with the music. The power becomes accessible to us in a manageable form. Each one of us is meant for a unique purpose. These energies of the eclipses, solar and lunar, are intended to trigger transformation from unconscious to conscious, from ordinary to extraordinary, from asleep to awake. The energy facilitates our strength and our resolve to act on the insights.
Another event on May 20th is the Sun in alignment with the Pleiades. This energy is often referred to as a purple Ray. It is a powerful healing ray of light and can be called upon to facilitate deep healing for any troublesome issue in our past. Remember that this is all part of who we are and our original design. The eclipses trigger the aspect of ourselves that needs to be activated to be the best version of who we are deep within our genetic makeup. We can see that we are the Sun, the Moon, and the Planets. We are also our DNA/RNA, contained in our cells, our blood circulating the story of divine oneness.
