HAPPY HEALTHY BEAUTIFUL NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
This blog will be in multiple layers. The idea is to express the very many potential aspects, and story lines of the coming year we have already begun.
Let’s begin with the numbers. The number six has a strong vibration of the family. 2022 adds up to a six. The zero ( or zed) represents potential. Throughout the year we will be seeing it expressed as 22.
To begin with, 22 is a core master number. 2 is all about relationships.
When we see the 22 master number it expresses strength, structure, foundation, and stability. We see a square but when we draw a diagonal line within, there are two equal triangles. The triangle is the powerful number three, the most stable geometric shape. It is one of the core Platonic solids. So, within this square is the powerful master number 33. This is a key element in the quality of the structure of 22. The two triangles contribute the energy of mastery of communication that allows the master number 22 to be thought of as holding the greatest potential for success. Makes sense to me, that a foundation would be built on the ability to communicate as a master. Many of the children born at this time will be considered to be way ahead of their time. (Let’s be open to learning from them. We need all the help we can get.)
Back to the six. Initially it holds the energy of the family. This energy expressed as nurturing, caring, selflessness, serving others, literally the idea of parenting. Some would see this as mostly expressing the mother’s energy, however we all know examples of the father and even child holding this commitment to nurturing. So, you might ask yourself, why do some beliefs hold that a trinitized six energy holds some kind of beastly energy. That is strictly based on a fear and fueled by deep anger within. It is not necessary to feed that fear. We are given the opportunity to nurture and even awaken a deeply imbedded sense of self-worth and self-empowerment. This year will challenge us to look after ourselves while dedicating ourselves to the service of others. The family shifts the focus to home, to harmony within and efforts to protect the family.
We are also fortunate to have the “potential energy” represented by the zero. The beauty of potential is that it contains the possibilities for our success at creating a new reality. We are here to heal, to grow, to expand consciousness. Whenever we see the number zero, we can keep in mind, the universe is holding the potential for our success. The family is the first place that we look to when it comes to healing. Generally, it is because this is where we are first shown the issues we have come to this planet to heal. It can be very difficult to deal with some of these “family issues”. Sometimes a person can come to the conclusion that the initial family they were born into is not the ideal place to heal. You might able to identify the hurt, the pain, the tragedy, but unable to heal in that environment. Some need to expand their idea of family and look elsewhere to find support and nurturing. This is healthy. There is the potential to return and grow in that initial family, but only when you are able to change the pattern of interaction. The concept of family morphs, expands and this year has the potential for us to grow.
We mentioned the number 2 being about relationships. This year we will be given the opportunity to notice the value of prominent relationships in our lives. Some will be very beneficial to us and others will be revealed as unhealthy. We can be honest about them or make excuses. Sooner or later, they are going to be “in your face”. If you are going to make progress in your evolution, you will have to make a decision. Do you stay in a toxic relationship, or do you move on? This is especially challenging when it is with a family member. At this time, we are redefining, and expanding the meaning of family. We are choosing to be with people who feel more like family then just friends. Attention is required here. We can make the best of it with mindfulness and compassion.
Now let’s focus on some of the astrological phenomenon. This year will have several planets in retrograde. Mercury will retrograde four times this year while Venus and Mars, being the planets that retrograde the least, will also behave this way. What is this saying? It is a big message to slow down, reflect, reevaluate, initiate changes that have been pushed aside. We are being shown that it is time to look at the past and confirm where you are going. Evaluate the commitments we have made and the details of contracts we have accepted. In some cases, we would benefit from canceling or greatly altering them. The real beauty of this discipline is the creation of space and time for creative endeavors that have been on the sideline. Retrograde holds the potential for this to happen.
Consider this meditation for a moment.
In a safe quiet place, see yourself standing under the most pristine waterfall. The temperature is perfection, the air fresh and clean. You are letting go of all these harmful, negative energies you have just identified. The water is washing you free of their effect on you. You feel renewed, rejuvenated, and energized. Now dive into the bubbly, fresh pool of water. The air is ionized and exhilarating. Swim over to the large dry rock near the shore. Stand up tall with your hands to your sides and allow a new creative energy to rise up within you. Be silent knowing that this is your energy, your creativity emerging to be expressed. This is a beautiful time to state a simple yet profound intent.

This is how retrograde holds the potential for us. However, we must take the initiative. Otherwise, the plane is taking off without a unique passenger aboard. There is no room for excess, or toxic baggage in your carry-on luggage. Use this time wisely. Your creative dreams, wishes, intention will become crystal clear. You have done the preliminary work. Go for it.
Here is another heads-up. The Planet Pluto is going to have a huge impact on the United States this year. On July 4th 1776 , Pluto was a significant force during the birth of the country. That is how long it has been since this alignment was in the heavens. What does this mean? Pluto can be a great force for transformation and renewal, and creation. However, it is also a force for decay, destruction, and breakdown. This is a core issue for the U.S. Corruption, deception, manipulation will all be revealed and the country will have the same opportunity we have to release, and purge itself of energies that no longer serve our higher destiny.
It is essential that we keep our eyes wide open, our hearts clear and our mind aligned to our highest potential. Be at peace with these changes. Trust that it is part of a very large picture that is cosmic in nature with the potential for expanded consciousness for humanity and Mother Earth. Wishing us all a beautiful, purposeful New Year.
