Hooray, spring is here on Saturday. It is also the astrological new year. A time to plant new ideas. Start something new that we have been considering for some time. It is also perfect timing to add new energy to a project that stalled. State our intention to focus on a dream that needs an extra boost. It also resonates to its numerological vibration. We know that 2021=5. March 20th is 3/20 also adds up to a 5. The month, day, and the year equals 10, a new beginning. It is right in front of us. Let’s all start something new. Perhaps we need to give ourselves permission to buy a new garment that projects a fresh image. Just do it!
The equinox means that at the equator, the days and nights are equal, or balanced. In the Northern hemisphere, we are not as balanced. This is a great opportunity to look at ourselves and see just what is out of balance in our life. We can ask, is work and the time to “recreate” ourselves out of balance? Is it time to look at a new activity that nurtures us as well as sustains us? Is our primary relationship out of balance? What can we do to foster more harmony? The image of children on a seesaw, balancing each other comes to mind. You have seen the way the kids need to move forward or back to create the balance. If they do not, one of them will be stuck in the air or grounded .
This encourages me to take this image a bit further. Many of us are truly dedicated to the idea of “love your neighbor as yourself”. As evolving beings, we know that “love is the answer”. Many of us do our best to radiate love throughout our day. Today and especially on the equinox, it makes total sense to love ourselves in balance with the love we project. This might be one of the most challenging tasks we have ever tried. There are so many conflicting messages telling us something contrary. It is time to give ourselves a new message. “We are lovable. We are worthy of love.” If this is difficult, we must encourage each other to explore this idea. We are so much more genuine in our love of others when we begin with truly loving ourselves. Try it you’ll like it!
